One-day delay in Zambia trial of AIDS activist

In Zambia, the court hearing scheduled for today, June 4, in the case against human rights activist and AIDS fighter Paul Kasonkomona has been postponed until tomorrow morning, June 5.

Kasonkomona was arrested April 7 and charged with “soliciting for immoral purposes” immediately after he appeared on a live television show and spoke in favor of the repeal of Zambia’s anti-homosexuality law.
