Tally of nations with anti-homosexuality laws drops to 70
UPDATE: Sept. 12, 2022 — The number of nations with laws against gay sex has fallen to 69. That accomplishment came two months after the previous achievement, described below.
July 7, 2022 — The number of nations with laws against gay sex fell to 70 this week, continuing the slow, decades-long progress toward recognition of the human rights of LGBTQ+ people. The latest country to end the criminalization of same-sex intimacy is the Caribbean nation of Antigua & Barbuda, where a high court on Tuesday overturned the anti-buggery provisions of the Sexual Offences Act.
Back in 2006, a total of 92 nations considered homosexual activity a crime, according to ILGA, the the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association.
Other nations that have recently decriminalized same-sex intercourse include Bhutan in the Himalayas (2021), Gabon in central Africa (2020) and Botswana in southern Africa (2019).

I might care more if Hollywood didn’t sour my attitude towards lgbtq. Tired of the endless woke saturation, preaching and political pandering. Teachers forcing these ideals on kids who can barely spell their names or read yet. The lgbtq community needs to slow down and set some guidelines. This current steamroller attitude is only pissing people off. I had no feelings one way or the other, you do you attitude. But having agendas thrown at me in every aspect of life is to much! You want these horrific situations to end? Then stop making new enemies with people like me, who would of helped out immediately a few years ago.
Let’s face it, you were never going to be on our side, so we are happy that you are pissed off.
