Comic preview of serious Ugandan human rights case

Today this blog republishes an accurate comic-strip-style presentation of  “The Case Against Scott Lively,” the anti-gay American pastor who is being sued in federal court for human rights abuses. The public is invited to attend (rescheduled) oral arguments in the case starting at 11 a.m. Wednesday,  Nov. 9, at U.S. District Court, Suite 120, 300 State Street,  Springfield, MA 01105 USA. (Take your ID card with you and arrive about 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. in order to get through security.)

The comic below was published by the Center for Constitutional Rights in early 2014, before Uganda’s Constitutional Court overturned that country’s Anti-Homosexuality Act. It was created by Andy Warner, samples of whose works can be seen on his Tumblr page. The piece is copyrighted by CCR and republished with permission.
