The online advocacy organization All Out is raising money to provide safe accommodations in Lebanon for LGBT refugees who have escaped from territory controlled by ISIS in Iraq and Syria.

“Sleeping on the streets in Lebanon when you’re gay or trans can be really dangerous – there’s a huge risk of being beaten up or sexually assaulted,” explains Samir, a gay Syrian refugee.

All Out, which is providing help to refugees by working with IRAP (Iraqi Refugee Assistance Project) in Lebanon, raised $6,600 to house Samir for a year, so it expanded its goal, seeking support for more gay and trans refugees.
