3-month prison sentence for making out in car in Dubai
Two men making out in a parked car near the beach in Dubai were sentenced today to three months in prison, the United Arab Emirates website The National reported.
After the men have served their sentence, they are to be deported.
The defendants were arrested at about 3 a.m. on April 9. They were identified only as RS, age 27, a beauty shop receptionist from the Philippines, and AA, age 32, from Oman.
An Emirates resident reported them to police after she saw them parked in front of her house.
Meanwhile a British woman and an Irish man were held in jail in Dubai for five days, pending trial, reportedly on charges of having sex in the back seat of a taxi.
